The word 'astrology' comes from the Latin term astrologia ('astronomy'), which in turn derives from the Greek noun astron ('constellation' or 'star') and -logia ('the study of'). It may also be termed as the study of the positions and aspects of celestial bodies in the belief that they have an influence on the human affairs.
